Why is my first invoice different to my monthly service fee?
PacketSky services are invoiced in advance.Your initial pro-rata invoice, which may also include any installation fee, connection fee, delivery fee or additional hardware fees, is issued once your service is active.
Should your service be activated part way through a month, your invoice will only include a pro-rata portion of your standard monthly service fee. Should your service be activated towards the end of the month, after our normal monthly invoicing has been processed, your first invoice will include a pro-rata charge for the remaining days in the month, plus your standard monthly fee for the next month in advance.
E.g. Should your service be activated on 16 April, your first invoice will include a pro-rata fee for the remaining 15 days of the month (i.e. 50% of your standard monthly fee). Should your service be activated on 29 April, your first invoice will include a pro-rata fee for the remaining 2 days of the month, plus your standard monthly service fee for May, as that fee is billed in advance.
